What could we do today if we weren’t afraid? The fear of getting it wrong, being ridiculed, called out of the crowd because of an epic fail: saying something that no one else will agree with. Fear of the unknown keeps communities bound to social prejudices, it keeps the vulnerable from speaking up, the lost from being found- because the hero is too afraid to act, waiting for the ‘opportune time’ to save the day, and the victim too terrified to hope in vain for their salvation. Fear thwarts the existence of the world as we’d hope it to be. The greatest loss today would not be if the best of what we have was lost, but if the best of what is to come never came.
Welcome Mufudzi…
Congratulations on your first post and what a post it is. Fear is crazy and we cannot allow it to control us. I loved it when you said,
The greatest loss
today would not be if the best of
what we have was lost, but if the
best of what is to come never
came.
Great post and looking forward to more…..
