When I was 16 I loved public speaking. Any chance I’d get I’d speak; I would be an emcee at my youth group, I joined the debate team, but despite my love for speaking I could never get over the nervousness before I spoke. But i’ll never forget what my Mother told me one time before I spoke, and her words have rung true in my ears to this day, be it public speaking or writing, she said. ”Your tongue is the pen of a ready writer, inscribing on the hearts of men”, and writing on the hearts of men is what this blog is for.
