The room we leave in our hearts for the Omniscient One.
A dedicated space for the pain we will never understand,
Where perplexity goes to lie-
The resting place of despair.
The mystery box is
An acknowlement of our limits of knowing-
Surrender of our rights for clarity;
Heavy leaning on Sovereignty.
Trusting that the Good Shepherd holds all our days
With all they contain-
Beauty and tragedy all the same.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
