Rehoboth

Open spaces
Wholesome rooms
Wells deep enough to quench thirst
For multiple generations,
Food so nourishing
It feeds not just bodies
But souls.
A space that has ceased to be
Contested for.
It is a beautiful thing
To be a given by God
A place to call home-
Ground on which to flourish
A place on this earth
That is yours to prosper in,
A quiet place to rest your feet.
Blessed are the ones
That no longer need to fight
For their spot beneath the sun
And spend their days
Basking instead.

He moved on from there and dug another well, and no one quarreled over it. He named it Rehoboth, saying, “Now the Lord has given us room and we will flourish in the land.”

-Genesis 26:22
