What is it about progress
That takes us away from ‘the community’
Only to come back later
And ‘give back’ to it?
Some come back out of guilt,
Others from a sense of duty
But have you ever wondered why they had to
Leave in the first place?
What if the community itself was enough?
What if the primary place we wanted to sow our seeds
Was the ground on which we stood?
And that these seeds would bear us fruit to enjoy
